We offer these access to these companies as a benefit to those who complete our program because we know how challenging it can be to get interviews when you’re new to the industry. We also want to ensure all Satellite Certified Talent end up with companies who are best-in-class employers.
On average, Satellite Certified Talent, land their new SDR, BDR, or other entry-level sales position within two to three months of completing the sales training portion of the program.
Absolutely. The sales training program has been designed to flex around your life while still providing ample opportunity for deep and immersive learning. Many of our learners successfully complete (and excel in) the sales training program while still working.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will make more money, but we can share that on average Satellite Certified Talent go on to make an annual income of $85,400 their first year out of the program. It’s important to keep in mind that sales development representatives or other entry-level sales positions are only gateways for entering the sales profession. The average SDR is promoted within 12-24 months and earning potential only increases with each promotion.

Definitely. And that’s exactly what Satellite is here to do. Many of the learners who come through our program have little to no sales experience. They do, however, have transferable skills and character traits that tend to serve them well in the world of sales. Through our sales training program you’ll be introduced to foundational sales skills and also learn how to put them into practice during live training simulations with expert sales trainers.
No. The application is free. Stepping through the Satellite admissions process can also be a great way to help you evaluate whether sales is the right career path for you.
Sales training bootcamps typically cost between $7k–$30k. A steep price to pay for mostly pre-recorded videos. The fees are typically in the form of an upfront tuition and/or an income share agreement (ISA). The Satellite Career Accelerator program is completely tuition-free for all learners. Satellite will never take a fixed percentage of your future earnings.
Sales development representative, business development representatives, and other entry-level sales and go-to-market roles continue to be some of the highest demand jobs. It’s common for a single SDR or BDR job posting to receive hundreds of applicants, which makes it difficult for job seekers to stand out and challenging for hiring managers to find the best talent. SDR and BDR applicants can increase their chances of standing out and landing a job by completing sales training programs. Satellite Certified Talent end the training program with work samples that demonstrate their sales skills as well as recommendations from coaches and trainers. An added benefit to the Satellite Career Accelerator is the opportunity to be showcased to hiring companies via your own profile in the Satellite Talent Marketplace.
While we cannot guarantee that every learner who completes our program will land a job, we’ve consistently seen that job seekers who can easily showcase and demonstrate relevant skills are hired more quickly. Satellite Hiring Partners are interested in adding entry-level sales professionals to their team. Our hiring partners are utilizing the Satellite Talent Marketplace to browse profiles of Satellite Certified Talent and requesting to set up interviews.
