Satellite Career Accelerator—what to expect during the program

Onboarding

Your performance in the program begins immediately — even during the onboarding. The onboarding phase requires attendance to a live onboarding session, consumption of onboarding materials, and submission of several small assignments.

Dedicated coach

Every Satellite learner is matched with a coach for in-depth 1:1 access. Your coach is a sales expert there to provide feedback and support you every step of the way.

Independent learning

Each week you'll work through engaging content introducing you to foundational sales skills and techniques. The content comes in a variety of forms, including video, audio, and written formats. Expect to spend 6-8 hours weekly consuming sales training content and completing assignments.

Live sales simulations

The weekly live sales simulations give you the opportunity to put what you’ve learned independently into practice. These simulations effectively move learners from knowing to applying sales skills. Live simulations are a key differentiator between Satellite and other sales training programs or bootcamps. The simulations take place in a small group setting and are facilitated by our lead trainer.

Community

All Satellite Learners gain access to the Satellite Sales Community. The community, built on Slack, is a space where you can collaborate, network, and connect with other learners actively working through the program or who have completed it and begun their sales career.

Interview prep

Practice the art of the interview with dedicated training focused on how to optimally and confidently showcase your skills, character, and aptitude with hiring managers and sales and business leaders.

Job placement support

Upon successful completion of the Satellite Career Accelerator you will have the opportunity to interview with Satellite hiring partners. Satellite only partners with modern and high-growth companies who satisfy our requirements for competitive compensation, benefits, support, and professional growth

Post hire support

Once you’ve been hired with a company your relationship with Satellite doesn’t end. We are invested in ensuring your ongoing success. For three months you will continue to have access to sales coaching and can access the Satellite Sales Community and other resources indefinitely.

Satellite coaches are seasoned sales experts with years of experience in tech sales, sales training, and sales career guidance. Every Satellite learner is matched with a coach as a part of our sales training program.

Shara D. is currently a Renewals Manager at ZoomInfo — an industry leader in B2B data and GTM partnerships. Like many Satellite Learners, she decided to switch careers into tech aales after realizing the potential for professional and financial growth. An overachiever, she continues to rise the ranks from SDR, to SMB AE, to MM AE and is now a founding member of the Renewals Management team at ZoomInfo. She enjoys simplifying complex concepts, problem-solving and learning form others. Outside of her professional zest, she is passionate about being a visible supporter of diversity in the tech sales space.

Lediona Canellari is an entrepreneurial sales professional with a passion for sales development and innovation through a data driven focus. When it comes to sales, Lediona has done it all, starting her sales career as an SDR, then moving to a manager position, AE, and finally director of sales development. She has an excellent understanding and ability to execute on sales strategy, sales training, and sales team management. Lediona's passion lies in helping motivated, hardworking people break into tech sales while teaching the core methodologies and soft skills required to succeed in sales and business. She is an optimist and loves learning something new every day.

Nicole Plant started out in sales as with the goal of using it as a launch pad for her career. She knows firsthand what it's like and what it takes to be a successful SDR and also has a depth of experience serving in other sales enablement and SDR management roles. Christopher Page lives on the beautiful island of Kauai and is currently working for TeamEngine as their Sales Enablement and Recruiting Manager. He spent most of his working life in the service industry, managing cocktail bars. The pandemic turned Christopher's world upside down in the best way possible. He landed a job as an SDR and it truly changed his life. Now Christopher hopes to share his knowledge of the tech industry with others so they too can live out their dreams.

Christina Parker is a former teacher and also the first ever graduate of the Satellite Career Accelerator. She is also the first and only BDR at the startup, Firstbase. Born and raised in the Seattle, WA area, she now lives in Tulsa, OK with her partner (Tanner) and dog (Lola). Outside of work she enjoys playing nerdy games with her friends, quilting, and a good cocktail.

Marty Angus is a Brooklyn, NY based researcher and writer. He is the author of fiction novel, "Outside With Elephants" published on New Degree Press. Marty has 10 years of professional sales and marketing experience across a variety of for- and non-profit companies, including, Soccer Without Borders, Brooklyn Football Association, SoFive Soccer Centers, Momentum Solar, and Gartner, Inc. Marty is an enthusiastic sales coach who believes the light at the end of the tunnel, is our future selves.

Tiffany Anisette Pringle is currently a doctoral candidate at Northcentral University obtaining her Doctor of Education with Specialization in Global Training & Development. With over 15 years of entrepreneurship and corporate sales experience, Tiffany is a successful leader, facilitator, motivator, and coach with a passion for creating high-performance teams, training other trainers, and developing leaders at all levels of an organization.
